Merely having a presence on social media sites or registering lots of URLs won’t by itself support your business. It’s about building credibility through what you say on these sites, and how you manage the incoming and outgoing information.

That said, the first step in any solid social media strategy is the content: defining the benefit of your product/service and communicating it in a compelling way. Then, identify the appropriate social media outlets to get the word out!

1. Provide interesting information that is relevant to your audience
2. Communicate often, so that content is always updated
3. Link back to other relevant conversations to provide other perspectives
