ABI is launching a new service that combines visual images with an audio recording. There’s no earth shattering technology here — just a a good solid BtoB marketing tool that leverages all of today’s online infrastructure. ABI’s also started a YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/abimarketingpr. Logon and check out this video and some others as well.

What’s good about this service is that the videos can be produced quickly and cost-effectively. A phone conversation or even a call-in from a trade show can be seen on YouTube or your website in a matter of hours. And since ABI knows BtoB, they’ll create something that meets your business goals.

VIDEOCASTS CONVEY BENEFITS OF COMPLEX TECHNOLOGY TO CUSTOMERS AND PROSPECTS COST EFFECTIVELY

ABI announces a new media tool for BtoB companies to cost-effectively communicate the business value of a product or service. Videocasts use still images, CAD drawings, and video clips combined with an audio track – all in video format – to explain the key features and benefits of intricate technology in a fast, easy way.

“Video content is the fastest growing communication tool on the web,” says Alan Isacson, president of ABI, a leading marketing public relations firm. “Videocasts can be especially beneficial to BtoB companies that have products and services that require explanation. A short video can convey much more than can a brochure or ad – and for a fraction of the cost.”

Videocasts are easily shared through forums such as YouTube, or embedded into company and publication websites. Video is also simple to tag and share over social networks, allowing individuals and groups to exchange videocasts freely. The resulting availability of information allows decision makers to easily learn about a product or technology, and encourages them to follow links for further information, driving website traffic. Videocasts also help to populate a company’s “search profile,” which is the body of results that appear in relevant keyword searches.

“ABI is leveraging its expertise in BtoB communication to help companies capitalize on the opportunities that new media offers,” says Alan Isacson, president of ABI. “As part of a strategic communications plan, videocasts can help companies clearly articulate the business value they bring to the marketplace, and multiply communication in an economical way.”

ABI has worked for nearly 30 years exclusively with BtoB companies. The agency provides both technical and editorial support for the videocasts, creates focused messaging, outlines topics, chooses images, and conducts the interviews. Production is also handled by ABI to ensure that a complete understanding of business goals is reflected in the messaging.
